The Jamadda Perma Culture Park is 10 minutes drive from the villa, in Billy's Bay. You park at the bottom of the hill then take a lovely walk up the mountain.
At the top of the hill there is an interesting cultural gallery and a workshop area where you can have lunch and learn some crafts. The owner John Deer is a great character and very knowledgeable on Jamaican history.
After a tour of the property and a look at John's fascinating antiques collection you can stay for lunch or one of their cultural workshops (please book ahead.)
You can spend some time chatting to John about Rasta culture and meeting his lovely dogs.
